Italia in vetta con Jannik Sinner nella Race to Turin, la classifica che, a fine stagione, decreterà gli otto partecipanti alle Atp Finals di Torino. Andiamo a vedere insieme i maggiori cambiamenti dopo le due settimane al masters1000 di Miami.

Italia sempre più in vetta nella Race to Turin, con Sinner che allunga ancora ed è praticamente già certo di un posto tra gli otto maestri che si sfideranno a Torino a novembre per alzare al cielo il trofeo delle Atp Finals. Con tre tornei vinti sui quattro disputati (Australian Open, Atp500 Rotterdam e masters1000 Miami), l’altoatesino ha conquistato ben 3900 punti: grazie alla vittoria slam gli basterà rimanere fino a fine stagione entro i primi venti per essere automaticamente qualificato.

Al suo inseguimento Daniil Medvedev, a secco di grandi successi e fermo a 2550 grazie alle finali all’Australian Open e al masters1000 di Indian Wells. Terzo, un po’ a sorpresa, è Alexander Zverev, che in settimana ha superato Carlos Alcaraz (oggi al quarto posto). Inseguono Alex de Minaur (quinto), Grigor Dimitrov che torna al sesto posto dopo l’incredibile cavalcata in Florida, Andrey Rublev (settimo) e la sorpresa Sebastian Baez (ottavo).

Ad oggi sarebbero loro gli otto grandi a sfidarsi sotto la Mole per un posto nell’Olimpo del tennis.

Classifica stabile per tutti gli altri inseguitori, con Novak Djokovic addirittura al dodicesimo posto (mai così male nelle ultime stagioni) e gli exploit di Nicolas Jarry, che entra in top25, e Fabian Maroszan (28) dopo l’ottimo percorso a Miami.

Capitolo italiani. Stabili in top50, nonostante aver perso qualche posizione, Flavio Cobolli (39) e Luciano Darderi (44). Gran passo in avanti di Luca Nardi che, nonostante l’eliminazione alle qualificazioni nel masters1000 di Miami, riesce a vincere il Challenger di Napoli e a stabilirsi alla posizione numero 47.
