Il mio trasferimento, il lavoro tecnico e mentale tra l’Argentina e Lecce. Ogni giorno lavoro sotto tutti gli aspetti. Questo approccio ha cambiato tutto, provo ogni giorno a superare me stesso, non penso tanto al mio avversario, ma soprattutto a me stesso“.
“Sicuramente qua ho trovato le condizioni migliori per giocare. Il posto è bellissimo. Ogni partita che ho giocato mi sono sentito sempre meglio, fino al match contro Cecchinato in cui ho giocato un grandissimo tennis. Riesco ad adattarmi un po’ a tutti gli stili di gioco, per esempio trovando il timing giusto per rispondere al grandissimo servizio in kick di Marco”.
Cosa ti ha spinto a lasciare il tuo Paese? “Purtroppo in questo momento in Argentina non si sta benissimo, ci sono tanti problemi economici. Per me era difficile programmare tornei, venivo sempre qua cinque mesi di fila, non avevo una base, era tutto molto difficile. A Lecce ho trovato una casa, una famiglia, gente che mi vuole bene, per me è importantissimo“.
“Nel 2019 mi hanno comunicato che ero positivo al doping, perché era contaminato un integratore che prendevo. E’ stata una tappa durissima per me, per un errore della mia medica e anche per un po’ di sfortuna. Sono stato fermo nove mesi, poi è arrivata la pandemia e alla fine con la mia ragazza abbiamo deciso di trasferirci in Italia ed è cominciato tutto”.
