Uno studio epidemiologico danese condotto dal Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute di Kans, condotto su 8.600 cittadini di Copenaghen, nell’arco di 26 anni (dal 1991 al 2017), ha messo in fila le discipline che rendono più longevi.

E quello che allunga di più la vita in assoluto è il tennis!

Ecco la classifica di longevità stilata dai ricercatori, che individua quali siano le attività sportive, seguendo l’ordine di anni in più guadagnati da parte di le pratica:

  1. tennis, 9,7 anni;
  2. badminton, 6,2 anni;
  3. calcio, 4,7 anni;
  4. ciclismo, 3,7 anni;
  5. nuoto, 3,4 anni;
  6. corsa, 3,2 anni;
  7. ginnastica ritmica, 3,1 anni;
  8. fitness, 1,5 anni.

Lo studio ha anche evidenziato che le attività sportive praticate in compagnia fanno bene perché contribuiscono a ridurre lo stress.

Questo studio conferma i risultati di una precedente ricerca pubblicata nel 2016 che affermava che il rischio di morte era inferiore del 47% in chi praticava sport da racchetta rispetto alle persone sedentarie.

Classifica a parte, gli studiosi tengono a precisare che tutte le attività sportive fanno bene alla salute. L’importante è praticarle regolarmente e senza eccessi.
