Mentre sono in corso i nostri Internazionali, nella splendida cornice del Foro Italico, la Federazione francese piazza gli ultimi tasselli mancanti per dare il via al secondo Slam dell’anno.
Il presidente della Federazione francese di Tennis (FFT), Gilles Moretton, insieme alla direttrice del torneo Amelie Mueresmo, ha alzato il velo sui fortunati tennisti che avranno a disposizione una wildcard.
Per il tabellone femminile non poteva mancare il talento 20enne Diane Parry, che con il suo bellissimo rovescio a una mano già lo scorso anno aveva dato spettacolo sul centrale di Parigi. Ora è numero 109 nella classifica WTA. In ambito maschile, invece, sono stati premiati, tra gli altri, il giovanissimo talento Arthur Fils, il 22enne Hugo Gaston (in cerca di una definitiva consacrazione), e il “sempre verde” Benoit Paire, beniamino dei francesi, che dall’alto dei suoi 34 anni assicura esperienza e sempre un po’ di spettacolo.
