Controllare la racchetta

Sembra una banalità, ma quante volte colpiamo la pallina senza guardare la nostra racchetta? Dobbiamo pensare a questo oggetto come un prolungamento naturale del nostro braccio e ci dobbiamo regolare di conseguenza. Fissare la pallina prima di colpire ci aiuterà sicuramente a trovare un impatto della stessa perfetto e a decidere (con più consapevolezza) dove indirizzare il nostro tiro.

Controllare la rotazione della racchetta

Una conseguenza naturale del primo consiglio. Quando colpiamo la pallina dobbiamo stare attenti a non perdere il controllo della racchetta e a farla roteare in maniera non volontaria. Così facendo, avremmo molte meno possibilità di colpire fuori tempo e di mandare la pallina nel campo dei vicini. Inoltre, far roteare meno la racchetta permette di evitare sollecitazioni al braccio e conseguentemente gravi infortuni o infiammazioni ai tendini.

Guardare la palla

Sembra un’altra banalità, ma la concentrazione sulla palla ci può aiutare molto in uno scambio. Riuscire a leggere in anticipo la traiettoria ci permette di muoverci prima ed arrivare più comodi sui colpi del nostro avversario. Oltre a questo, permette di tirare con un tempismo migliore, riuscendo a capire prima dove finirà la pallina.

Importanza della gamba

Nel tennis non professionistico è uno dei punti meno a fuoco, ma il gioco di gambe è fondamentale nel nostro sport. Non solo per i cosiddetti pallettari che arrivano a rimettere in gioco qualsiasi pallina, ma per tutti. Se riusciamo ad essere ben molleggianti sulle gambe, a fare passi brevi e frequenti e a cambiare sempre direzione ci accorgeremo come sarà più semplice colpire la palla in maniera pressoché perfetta.

L’equilibrio

Mantenere l’equilibrio, non solo durante il colpo ma anche nella corsa, è fondamentale per vedere la propria pallina andare dall’altra parte della rete. Quante volte, infatti, ci scomponiamo all’esecuzione del colpo e vediamo il nostro tiro fare solamente pochi metri? Beh, il problema non è la poca potenza nel nostro braccio, ma l’aver colpito la palla fuori equilibrio. Dobbiamo riuscire ad avere sempre i piedi ben piantati a terra e a trasferire tutta la potenza della rotazione nel nostro braccio per colpire nella maniera migliore possibile.
