Grazie a questo, un’intelligenza artificiale eviterà commenti di odio verso i tennisti sulle principali piattaforme social. All’appello mancano le firme di Atp, Tennis Australia e Roland Garros.
La novità
A partire dal 1° gennaio 2024, tenniste e tennisti saranno protetti nella loro vita sui social network. Molti protagonisti del circuito Atp e Wta, infatti, sono spesso vittime di abusi verbali dei cosiddetti haters, che sfogano il proprio malcontento celandosi dietro uno schermo.
Per questo motivo, insieme a Signify Group, entrerà in vigore Threat Matrix, un’intelligenza artificiale atta ad evitare commenti di odio nei confronti degli atleti professionisti sulle piattaforme Meta (Instagram, Facebook e Threads), TikTok, X e YouTube.
“I tennisti professionisti sono spesso vittime di abusi verbali sui social network e sono contattati in continuazione anche su altre piattaforme di messaggistica. Questo pone a rischio la loro preparazione atletica, le performance e la salute mentale.
Il servizio Threat Matrix supporterà l’identificazione di chi commette questi abusi, che verranno puniti secondo la legge.
Threat Matrix è un servizio speciale prodotto con l’intelligenza artificiale da Signify Group. Il nuovo servizio monitorerà l’attività social degli atleti contro qualsiasi minaccia proveniente dalle piattaforme Meta, TikTok, YouTube e X.
Il tennis deve essere uno sport in cui gli atleti competono al massimo delle loro possibilità, liberi da ogni tipo di minaccia” (David Haggerty, presidente dell’International Tennis Federation).
Un’iniziativa sicuramente interessante ma che, non avendo incontrato il consenso di Atp, Tennis Australia e Roland Garros, probabilmente lede alcuni diritti alla privacy degli atleti coinvolti.
